Tiger Barb 

Tiger Barb is a vibrant variety of the popular Tiger Barb, available in different striking colors such as green, red, and mixed shades. These energetic fish are very active swimmers and bring lively movement and color to community aquariums.

Features:

• Size: 5–7 cm

• Temperament: Semi-active and playful

• Tank level: Middle swimmer

• Lifespan: 5–6 years

• Diet: Omnivore (flakes, pellets, live or frozen foods)

Tank Requirements:

• Minimum tank size: 60 liters

• Temperature: 22–27°C

• pH: 6.5–7.5

• Best kept in groups of 6 or more

Compatibility:Tiger Barbs do well with other active fish like danios, larger tetras, and barbs. Keeping them in groups helps reduce fin-nipping behavior.

Special Note:Their colors appear more vibrant in well-planted aquariums with good lighting and open swimming space.
