Thambarapani Barb

Thambarapani Barb is a colorful freshwater fish native to rivers of South India. It is known for its attractive golden-orange body with a distinctive dark spot near the tail. These active schooling fish add lively movement and natural beauty to community aquariums.

• Temperament: Peaceful and active

• Diet: Omnivore (flakes, pellets, live or frozen foods)

Tank Requirements:

• Minimum tank size: 40 liters

• Temperature: 22–28°C

• pH: 6.5–7.5

• Best kept in groups of 6 or more

Compatibility:Thambarapani Barbs do well with other active community fish like danios, tetras, rasboras, and gouramis.

Special Note:They show their best colors when kept in a well-planted aquarium with open swimming space.
