Rosy Barb

Rosy Barb is a vibrant and hardy freshwater fish known for its beautiful pinkish-red coloration, especially in males during breeding conditions. These active and peaceful fish are popular in community aquariums and look stunning when kept in groups.

• Temperament: Peaceful and active

• Lifespan: 4–5 years

• Diet: Omnivore (flakes, pellets, live or frozen foods)

• Minimum tank size: 60 liters

• Temperature: 18–25°C

• pH: 6.5–7.5

• Best kept in schools of 6 or more

Compatibility:Rosy Barbs do well with other active community fish such as danios, tetras, gouramis, and other barbs.

Special Note:Their colors become more vibrant in cooler water and well-planted aquariums with plenty of swimming space.
