Halfmoon Betta

Halfmoon Fighter, also known as the Halfmoon Betta, is a stunning variety of Betta fish famous for its large, flowing fins that spread into a perfect 180° semicircle, resembling a half moon. These fish are prized for their vibrant colors and elegant appearance, making them a favorite among aquarium hobbyists.

Features:

• Size: 6–7 cm

• Temperament: Semi-aggressive (males should be kept alone)

• Tank level: Top to middle swimmer

• Lifespan: 3–5 years

• Diet: Carnivorous (betta pellets, frozen or live foods)

Tank Requirements:

• Minimum tank size: 15–20 liters

• Temperature: 24–28°C

• pH: 6.5–7.5

• Prefer calm water with plants and hiding places

Compatibility:Male Halfmoon Bettas are usually kept alone because they can be aggressive toward other males or fish with long fins.

Special Note:Bettas have a labyrinth organ, allowing them to breathe atmospheric air from the water surface.
